If you enjoy variety and do not want to spend every shift performing the same type of exam, this is a strong general radiography opportunity.
You will support an acute care hospital, including the emergency department, inpatient units, operating room, and other clinical areas. That gives you regular exposure to routine diagnostic imaging as well as portable exams, fluoroscopy, and surgical C-arm work.
The department is looking for technologists who are comfortable using professional judgment and working independently when needed. You will be trusted to evaluate image quality, adapt positioning to the patient in front of you, and provide thoughtful patient care throughout the exam.
The imaging environment includes two digital radiography rooms, three portable units, three C-arms, and dedicated fluoroscopy equipment. The department uses Fuji and GE portable technology, Siemens and GE fluoroscopy systems, GE C-arms, and Epic for documentation.
For someone newer to the hospital environment, there is also a structured onboarding period. Existing staff provide direct supervision and training during the first one to two weeks so you can learn department workflow, equipment, expectations, and hospital-specific procedures before transitioning into greater independence.
Night-shift employees also receive additional differential pay for evening, overnight, and weekend hours, creating meaningful earning potential beyond the base compensation.
What You'll Do
✔ Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations across emergency, inpatient, surgical, and hospital settings
✔ Complete chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremity, skull, and spine imaging
✔ Perform portable radiography throughout the hospital
✔ Support fluoroscopy procedures
✔ Provide C-arm imaging in the operating room
✔ Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality before completing exams

Minimum Qualifications:
Required
✔ ARRT certification in Radiography, ARRT(R)
✔ Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure
✔ BLS certification
✔ Minimum of one year of Radiologic Technologist experience
✔ Ability to work independently when needed
✔ Ability to work required weekend rotations
Preferred
Experience with portable radiography, fluoroscopy, and operating room C-arm procedures.
Experience with Fuji, GE, Siemens, or Epic is helpful but not listed as a requirement.
