What You'll Do
✔ Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations to assess communication, language, articulation, and feeding needs.
✔ Develop individualized treatment plans that support each child's functional goals and developmental progress.
✔ Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy using creative, play-based interventions.
✔ Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and families to provide coordinated, child-centered care.
✔ Educate parents and caregivers by providing home strategies that reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
✔ Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
✔ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth and successful outcomes.
✔ Foster a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where children feel confident learning and communicating.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
✔ Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
✔ Eligible for or currently licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Alaska.
✔ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.
✔ Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
✔ Passion for providing compassionate, family-centered pediatric care.
Preferred
• Pediatric therapy experience is preferred but not required.
• Clinical Fellows and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
