What You'll Do
✔ Assess patients and provide respiratory therapy treatments based on physician orders and established care plans.
✔ Operate and monitor a variety of respiratory therapy equipment used in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
✔ Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory interventions.
✔ Respond to respiratory emergencies while maintaining composure in high acuity situations.
✔ Monitor patient progress and communicate changes with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
✔ Accurately document treatments, assessments, and patient responses within the electronic medical record.
✔ Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with department quality and safety standards.
✔ Deliver compassionate, patient focused care while supporting positive clinical outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
Required
✔ Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
✔ Current Arkansas Respiratory Care License or eligibility to obtain licensure.
✔ CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC, or registry eligible.
✔ Current BLS Certification.
✔ Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision making skills.
Preferred
• One year of acute care respiratory therapy experience.
• Associate Degree.
• ACLS, ACCS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
