You'll practice in a hospital based outpatient orthopedic clinic located just across the street from the hospital, offering the stability and resources of a hospital system while maintaining the atmosphere of an outpatient rehabilitation practice. Collaboration is part of the department's culture, and you'll work alongside clinicians who genuinely enjoy supporting one another and sharing ideas to provide exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do
✔ Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
✔ Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
✔ Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
✔ Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and recovery strategies.
✔ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support billing requirements.
✔ Assist with discharge planning and reinforce long term functional goals.
✔ Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of care.
✔ Deliver compassionate, patient centered care while promoting safe and effective rehabilitation.

Minimum Qualifications
Required
✔ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
✔ Current Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for New Hampshire licensure.
✔ Current BLS Certification.
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
Preferred
• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies.
• Previous outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Passion for patient education and collaborative rehabilitation.
