What You’ll Do

✔ Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.

✔ Obtain high quality images that support accurate interpretation and timely clinical decision making.

✔ Review patient history and clinical information before each examination.

✔ Explain procedures clearly while helping patients feel comfortable and respected.

✔ Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

✔ Support both scheduled and emergent imaging needs during night and weekend coverage.

✔ Maintain accurate documentation and communicate relevant findings according to department protocols.

✔ Follow infection prevention practices, patient identification procedures, and regulatory standards.

✔ Monitor equipment performance and maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.

✔ Contribute to a collaborative radiology team focused on quality imaging and responsive patient care.


Required

✔ Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

✔ Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

✔ ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN.

✔ Registered Vascular Technologist credential.

✔ Strong patient care, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

✔ Ability to work effectively during night shift and support emergent imaging needs.

✔ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.


Preferred

• One year of clinical ultrasound experience.

• Previous hospital based or acute care sonography experience.

• Experience performing abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.

• Strong new graduates with relevant clinical preparation are encouraged to apply.
