What You'll Do
✔ Carry out Physical Therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
✔ Provide skilled therapeutic interventions for acute inpatient patients
✔ Support mobility, strengthening, balance, transfers, functional activity, and recovery goals
✔ Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate meaningful changes to the Physical Therapist
✔ Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, exercises, and therapy recommendations
✔ Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly compensation with a structured pay scale based on experience and qualifications.
Relocation assistance is available at either $2,500 with a one-year commitment or $4,500 with a two-year commitment.
Housing may be available on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
✔ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
✔ Current Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant license
✔ BLS certification
✔ Ability to work effectively in an acute inpatient care environment
Preferred
Two years of previous PTA experience
Previous acute inpatient care experience
Experience working with medically complex patients and interdisciplinary hospital teams
